Bimetallic batteries are sectional radiators consisting of a steel core and an aluminum body.
The first consists of horizontal collectors and vertical columns inside sections. All elements are securely connected to each other using hard solder. It is through them that the coolant moves, so they are optimally designed for high loads - temperatures up to 110 degrees and pressure up to 4 MPa (40 bar).

Aluminum batteries
The most popular type of batteries are aluminum sectional radiators. They hold the lead due to their appearance and good heat dissipation. Installation is also quite labor-intensive, which will ensure no extra costs. And at the same time, the heat transfer of aluminum radiators is very good.
Cast iron batteries
Cast iron batteries have good heat storage capacity and high thermal inertia: the residual heat transfer 1 hour after switching off is 30%, while, for example, for steel radiators this figure is half as much (15%). This fact indicates that cast iron radiators are good for heating systems with irregular heating (for example, a system with a solid fuel heating boiler or in conditions of periodic outages of electricity necessary for the operation of the system equipment).
